The Information Systems Coordinator is responsible for both maintaining and assessing the suite of systems used by The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center that include Podio, Event Management System (EMS), Google, Box, Formstack, Shiftplanning and PayPal. By working directly with Clarice users of those current systems as well as through information gathering from other performing arts organizations, the Information Systems Coordinators will assess efficiency and effectiveness to then develop and evolve workflows for optimal productivity. The Information Systems Coordinator will recommend standard operating procedures to improve organizational operations and productivity. The Information Systems Coordinator trains and retrains users on systems as well as serves as the interface between The Clarice Management and the campus ARHU computer support and Division of IT staff on systems. The Information Systems Coordinator reports to The Clarice’s Business Manager and is part of the Finance & Administration department.
Essential Job Functions
ASSESS SUITE OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS -Identify and recommend ways in which Information Systems can optimize performance and productivity for each Clarice department.
-Assess information systems effectiveness by auditing systems on an ongoing basis through user experience and industry standards.
-Manage backup, security and user help for current organizational systems.
SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATION AND TRAINING -Serve as system administrator for existing organizational information systems.
-Train new staff on organizational systems as part of their onboarding.
-Retrain staff on the use of new and/or existing systems on a regular and/or specific use case basis.
-Serve as the Clarice staff liaison to ARHU computing support and Division of IT on systems.
-Liaise with system vendors on support, billing and updates.

Normal Work Environment
Minimum: -Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
-Up to 2 years of professional experience with information systems.
-Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with relational databases and software development.
-Working knowledge of and experience with system administration and Microsoft Excel.
-Experience organizing and deploying resources for and managing multiple simultaneous projects.
-Experience with EMS (Event Management Systems) software.
-Experience with Podio software.
-Project management skills.
-Experience in the performing arts.
