The Programming Coordinator is responsible for general administrative and programming duties related to all Butler Arts Center venues, and specifically Clowes Memorial Hall presentations, productions, and events including the Clowes Hall Education Programs. This position reports to the Executive Director of the Butler Arts Center and works closely with other programming responsible positions, including the Education Manager, to complete assigned tasks pertaining to the daily operations of their departments.
Assist the Executive Director with the general administration of presentations,production, and events including calendar confirmations, avails, gathering riders, ticket reporting, event coverage, and other needs as
Create show offers in conjunction with the Executive Director.
Manage and maintain the season calendar for all
Manage the on-sale process and calendar for all Butler Arts Presents shows,co-presentations and Works with Director of Ticket Services on show builds and acts as the primary department liaison for all ticketing issues related to Butler Arts Presents engagements.
Assist with show duties as assigned and works collaboratively with the Butler Art Center staff and artists to ensure all needs are met for each Provides performance coverage support when needed.
Assist in show settlements and expense reconciliations with Director of Operations as
Assist in artist booking and event management process for Butler University special projects including lectures and specific student presented
Bachelor’s degree in a related area
A minimum of two years of working experience in programming or administrative assistant capacity
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Strong Excel skill is required
Excellent communication skills
Extremely detail oriented team player with the ability to multitask
