Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts (LCPA) serves three primary roles: it is the world’s leading presenter of superb artistic programming, is a national leader in arts and education and community relations, and functions as the manager of the Lincoln Center Campus.
Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts seeks an experienced artist services manager to work on two outdoor summer festivals, Midsummer Night Swing, and Lincoln Center Out of Doors. The Temporary Seasonal Artist Services Manager is responsible for coordinating and troubleshooting all details related to Artist Relations, with an emphasis on bringing out-of-town artists to and from the engagement(s).
Arranging transportation/hotels/ground transportation/per diems for visiting artists
Coordinating artists’ hospitality and ticket requests
Applying for visas as needed / serve as liaison with visa agency
Creating and distributing weekly status chart for contracts, travel and check requests
Distributing season brochures to all artists
Creating detailed travel itineraries for all artists and distribute to all relevant internal and external staff
Preparing thank you notes for all artists after each engagement
Collecting and reconcile all travel related invoices and prepare for payment
Prior company management and artist relations experience strongly preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; professional phone manner
Strong computer skills and proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database programs
Strong organization skills and attention to detail, with an ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Must exhibit excellent judgement and flexibility
Ability to work evenings and weekends required
This job involves being able to lift up to 50 pounds
Candidate is required to work outside on performance days for much of the time
