The Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center (SPPAC), a 420-seat performing arts center located in Stowe, VT is seeking an experienced professional to oversee all production aspects of live event presentations and facility management. This position reports directly to the Executive Director.
General Function: This position provides stage related technical support for events and manages facility and equipment budgets and maintenance.
Production Responsibilities: Advance and oversee technical requirements, stage labor, transportation and special needs of SPPAC events. Act as technical liaison, crew chief, stage manager and stage hand as needed. Liaison to all service providers for staging and other technical services as needed.
Facility Responsibilities: Manage facility and equipment preventative maintenance and serve as liaison to commercial and residential tenants and outside vendors. Function as on call crisis management, as needed. Oversee, guide, and support Facilities Manager who handles day-to-day maintenance, repairs, and cleaning. Liaison with FM to all service providers for building and physical plant matters.

Founded in 2004, the Spruce Peak Arts Center Foundation operates the Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center (SPPAC), a year-round, 400-seat proscenium theatre in Stowe, Vermont which opened in December 2010. The mission of SPPAC is to Inspire, Educate, and Entertain all those who live, work, and play in the greater Stowe region. In addition to presenting nationally renowned music, theatre, dance, and other performing arts, SPPAC provides subsidized or cost free space for community events, fundraisers, and school performances, rental space for cultural activities associated with regional resort-based conferences, business and social functions.
